Completed the ABS Flight Instructor Academy, Beech Essentials Systems Training and the ABS Recognized Instructor Exam
Received three letters of recommendation from ABS members
Attained at least 100 hours of dual given in a Bonanza
Bonanza-Specific Expertise
Dean is an expert in the nuances of the Beechcraft Bonanza, including turbo-normalized engines (Western Skyways, Tornado Alley and factory installed), retractable gear failure modes, advanced avionics (G600, GFC 500, GI 275, GTN 750Xi) and Bonanza-specific instrument flying procedures.
He utilizes the ABS Initial and Recurrent Training Materials and Beech Essentials Systems Training to ensure pilots new to Beechcraft understand the systems and their operation.
This training is provided at Provo, South Valley, Salt Lake City, Bountiful and Ogden airports.
