Former Senior Instrument Flight Instructor at the Cirrus SLC Training Center, and SF50 Vision Jet type rated.
Four and a Half Years on the Cirrus Training Center Staff
Dean was the Senior Instrument Flight Instructor at the Cirrus SLC Training Center for four and a half years before creating Air Corgi. While on staff he was tested every six months, alternating between VFR and IFR recurrent training and certification, resulting in a high degree of proficiency.
He provided transition training for pilots new to Cirrus, plus instrument instruction and IPCs across the Cirrus line — SR20, SR22, SR22TN and SR22T, ranging from G3 to G7 avionics. He also earned the SF50 Vision Jet type rating and ATP-SEL, and provided instructional and professional pilot services to Cirrus clients.
How Dean Trains Cirrus Owners
Dean provides Cirrus systems training and Perspective+ avionics training on a simulator, saving in-flight costs, and applies Cirrus principles to both instrument and transition training.
Most insurance companies will accept training from an independent CFI-I who provides this comprehensive training.
This training is provided at Provo, South Valley, Salt Lake City, Bountiful and Ogden airports.
